With all the cocktail bars, BBQ joints and pizza restaurants that have opened in the last year, Nottingham needed some diversity!
This has come in the form of Bierkeller Entertainment Complex on Friar Lane, due to open to the public on 17th March.
Bierkeller, the national chain, houses 3 totally different ‘destinations’ all under one roof. The Bierkeller itself will celebrate all that is great about Bavarian culture including German music and beers. Around the world bar will stock a plethora of beers and cocktails from around the globe including Nottingham’s very own Castle Rock brewery. It will stock over 100 beers and ciders from more than 33 different countries, as well as a vast range of wines and cocktails. Shooters, the perfect place to kick back and watch your favourite sport, on the largest screen in the city, a whopping 5m x 2.5m! Do you want to see your favourite footballer larger than life? You can here! They also offer American pool tables, offering free pool between 12pm – 5pm, Monday to Friday, FIFA gaming nights and live WWE wrestling. For the foodies out there, Shooters welcomes visitors to take on its Man vs Food challenge – something I will definitely attempt! £25 for the 20 minute challenge, and if you complete, it’s free! Win win!
Each ‘destination’ will offer a different food menu, so make sure you check them all out. From classic Italian-style pizzas and New York burgers in the Around the World Bar, many a Wurst in Bierkeller and hot dogs, flat breads and nachos at Shooters, there’s something to hopefully suit everyone!
Around The World bar & lounge
Around The World will host weekly events such as Burger Club Mondays or Fizz Fridays – offering a bottle of Prosecco for £11.95 or a bottle of Champagne for £24.95 all day. And added to the mix will also be BEC’s cocktail masterclasses – giving customers the chance to learn how to create their favourite cocktails from scratch.
