Pago fruit juices

I love a good fruit juice. Especially on a hangover. It is refreshing, thirst quenching and full of goodness. However it is really difficult to find a good quality fruit juice at a reasonable price, usually the ones I pick up turn out to be bland or bitty.

Thankfully Pago Fruit Juices came to the rescue this Christmas by sending me some testers! There are so many flavours to choose from, falling into 4 categories; Classics, Exotic, Citrus and Red Fruits. The only thing that goes into the bottle is fruit and it’s sourced from the greatest producers in the world apparently. I had high hopes! They have 15 flavours in total and I got to try some of them.

I was sent the orange, mango, pineapple and pink grapefruit juices to give feedback on.

We tried each individually and also mixed them with prosecco on Christmas Day as a treat.

Individually my favourite was the mango. It was really sweet and a little syrup like, which I loved. It was smooth to drink and didn’t leave the sharp aftertaste you can occasionally get with other mango juices. It went really well with gin too!

For a Prosecco topper, my favourite was the orange, you really can’t go wrong with a mimosa can you? It was the perfect was to start Christmas Day in our house before racing around to cook dinner for 8 of us. To be honest it is probably what got me through the day!

The pineapple juice mixed so well with lemonade and a handful of ice cubes, it’s a firm favourite summer drink of mine and reminded me of being the designated driver in a beer garden in the summer.

In all honesty the only one I didn’t enjoy was the pink grapefruit. Years ago as a child on a school trip to France I was forced to have the most bitter grapefruit for breakfast. Since then even the smell brings back bad memories! However my mum thoroughly enjoyed the sharp sweet taste of this. I left the remaining couple of bottles of this with her to accompany her breakfast!

The range is so vast that there is something for everyone. They even have more unusual flavours such as blackcurrant and rhubarb and pear which I would love to try. Whether you want to use fruit juice as a base for your favourite cocktails or need something to accompany your hangover helping cooked breakfast, Pago has you covered! For more info visit the Pago Website or follow them on Twitter or Instagram.

*I was gifted the juices in return for a review, however this hasn’t swayed my opinion, I just really loved them!
