Soy & honey salmon – recipe

I love fish, and just don’t eat enough! Last week my housemate and I had a salmon craving and so grabbed some fillets during our weekly shop. Raiding the cupboard we mixed a load of staple ingredients together and made a healthy, tasty quick dinner with a handful of veggies

Ingredients

1/4 cup soy sauce

3 tbsp honey

3 cloves of garlic

1 tsp lazy chilli (or half deseeded chilli, finely chopped)

1 tsp lazy ginger

Method

Place salmon in an oven proof dish.

Whisk all ingredients together and pour over the salmon.

Cover with tinfoil and leave to marinate for 15 minutes.

Put in the oven at 180°c for 15 minutes.

Serve!

Why are the ingredients called ‘lazy’? Looks delicious and fairly easy to make though. Lovely.

It is the brand. It’s just easier than peeling and grating ginger yourself! Just buy it in a jar instead!

  2. I have a feeling my mum will definitely want to give this recipe a go. Will pass it on to her 🙂
