Chocolate Orange Pots – Recipe

I’m not in a relationship so this Valentine’s Day I’ve made it my favourite dessert for my mates instead! The presentation isn’t great I’m afraid as I was in a rush, but it tastes sooooo damn good!

Calories – no idea, best not to know!

Make 3 stupidly big ones. Or 6 smaller ones. Make 6, it’s VERY rich!!

Ingredients

200g dark chocolate (70% is great)

140g caster sugar

3 egg whites

300ml double cream

Zest of 1 orange

3 tbsp Cointreau

Method

Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of hot water. Stir in orange zest

Place cream in a clean dry bowl with 100g of sugar and Cointreau. Whip until thick

Fold the chocolate into the cream mix

Whist the 3 egg whites in a clean dry bowl until they form soft peaks. Add in the last 40g of sugar slowly until stiff

Mix both bowls together slowly until well mixed

Spoon into bowl and chill in the fridge for 45 minutes.

Eat it as fast as you can!
